PNG deal confusion

There is confusion over a business deal reached between a Fijian firm and certain individuals in Papua New Guinea.
The Fiji High Commission Office in PNG has also received enquiries from the company the individuals purport to represent.
The issue has prompted an investigation by Fijian authorities to ascertain the truth behind the deal.
Certain authorities in PNG are questioning the validity of the agreement signed between the parties over opportunities in the Melanesian country.
FBC News will publish full details once a reply is received from the Minister for Labour Jone Usamate who has acknowledged receiving questions on the matter via email.
