Bribery charges for military officer

A military officer on secondment to the Immigration Department has been charged with two counts of bribery.
Jone Senibici of Vatuwaqa, Suva allegedly received a silver and gold plated watch and $100 from Yong Pan on June 28 this year.
Senibici is charged by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption with two counts of bribery and he appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday.
He has been released on bail for the sum of $500 and will re-appear in court on the 21st of next month.
