The Confederation of Public Sector Union will be meeting its members tomorrow to discuss a pay rise claim it has lodged with the Public Service Commission.
The Confederation comprises the Fiji Teachers Union, Fiji Public Service Association and Fiji Teachers Association.
The Confederation has sent a proposal to the PSC seeking a 110% pay rise for its members.
FTU General Secretary Agni Deo Singh says they have not received any response from the PSC.
“We would like the members to come and express themselves to tell us what they think would be a fair increase for them. And we hope to take the matter further with the authorities.”
The Confederation of Public Sector Union has about 15-thousand members.
The meeting will be held at the FTU in Suva tomorrow afternoon.
