Another fake note discovered

Investigations continue into the discovery of a $50 fake note in Tavua earlier his week.
Police say the note was discovered by the bank teller whilst performing a transaction.
The teller was able to identify the person who handed over the fake $50 bill.
The customer was later brought in for questioning, where he denied having knowledge of the fake note and was cautioned and released.
The note will be sent to the Reserve Bank for verification today.
Police had earlier reported that so far this month 8 cases of fake notes surfaced.
