Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says the Auditor General’s reports will all be made public in Parliament.
The Auditor General’s Office is tasked with scrutinizing every government department and state entity – analyzing expenses and operational procedures.
Bainimarama was asked on FBC TV’s 4 the Record programme why there are no reports of the current government’s finances and operations over the past eight years.
Bainimarama says a lot has been done to remove a back-log in the government machinery – including the Auditor General’s Office.
He says the reports will come out in parliament after the election.
