Talks are underway to expand the town boundary for Nausori.
Special Administrator for Nausori, Napolioni Masirewa says the proposal is to expand the town boundary up to Lakena on the Kings Road and Nausori Airport on the other side.
He says this is being consulted as the Nausori Airport is about to carry out major upgrading.
“We are going through planning exercise on the review of the New Nausori Scheme plan which looks at major developments such as extension of the town boundary – so that itself represents a lot of opportunity for Nausori."
He says this will open up more avenues for revenue collection for Nausori town council which could be used for more developments.
