5 admitted after accident

An investigation is underway into an accident that landed five people at the Levuka Hospital.
Police has raised concerns as the 3 tonne truck involved in the accident was carrying almost 30 passengers.
18 people were treated and sent home with five currently admitted with serious injuries.
The accident occurred at the Southern Coastal Road near Draiba Cemetery Levuka when the truck failed to negotiate a bend and went off the road.
The driver was questioned and released.
