The Fiji Police Force is concerned over students getting involved in after school brawls.
It is alleged that students of two schools were involved in a brawl at the Suva Bus stand last week.
Director of Operations SSP Rusiate Tudravu says fighting between students will not be tolerated.
“If there is any other incident that is recorded amongst the students – not only these two schools – the other schools as well – than the police will come down and enforce the rule of law as we don’t want students to get in this sort of misbehavior.”
SSP Tudravu says students should not get caught up in trivial things that can affect their studies.
“They should stay focused in their study rather than going out to do physical confrontation which can end up in the breach of the law and in the hands of the police.”
Tudravu says they have spoken to the two schools involved and will hold similar sessions with other schools.
