Australia to assist in job creation

The Australian government through AusAID will be creating employment and income earning opportunities for locals with the launch of their Market Development Facility (MDF).
The MDF works in partnership with the local private sector to develop innovative and commercially sustainable solutions to enhance employment and income opportunities for the poor.
The Acting Australian High Commissioner Glenn Miles, says markets play a central role in rural and urban households who represent producers, employees and consumers.
The MDF is expected to become a key employment creation program in Fiji.
