A Sri Lankan national appeared in Nadi Magistrates Court today charged for three counts of being in possession of forged travel documents and one count for being in possession of a device making forgeries.
Senthan Thiagaragah has been remanded in custody at the Natabua Corrections Centre for two weeks.
He will appear again in the Nadi Magistrates Court on July 9th.
The accused asked the court to be sent back to Sri Lanka.
Magistrate Samuela Qica told him he was at liberty to apply for bail.
Thiagaragah was caught at Nadi International Airport over the weekend and was found with forged Bristish and Indian passports.
