The inaugural Trade Pasifika event underway at Denarau in Nadi will boost trade between the Pacific Islands.
Potential traders are using this opportunity to promote their products and services to potential customers within and outside the region.
Trade Pasifika 2012 Steering Committee Kaliopate Tavola says exhibitions and seminars are held to enhance growth of small and medium enterprises.
“There is a special focus on women in business, that’s the growth industry in the Pacific. They are involved in a lot of areas, special products that has been marketed overseas with special funding from UNDP.”
The expo concludes tomorrow.
