Police investigate J Santaram robbery

Police are now trying to ascertain whether J Santaram Supermarket is insured after being robbed again at the weekend.
Director Criminal Investigations department – ASP Vakacegu Toduadua says this is not the first incident to occur this year.
An estimated $50,000 worth of groceries, alcohol and cigarettes were taken during the weekend heist.
Toduadua says a team of investigators have been mobilised to investigate the incident.
Meanwhile, J Santaram owner – Reshma Santaram says their stocks are insured against natural disasters or fire but are not covered under theft.
She says being robbed for the third time is disappointing and claims no one has been caught.
