Labour Party Leader Mahendra Chaudhry says the attack by former colleague Krishna Datt smacks too much of a political vendetta.
Chaudhry says Datt was expelled from FLP along with others – not because he was a threat to leadership – but for breaching Party values and discipline
He says Datt is now trying to pose as a political saint.
In a media conference this morning Datt claims – the FLP – having lost credibility with Indo-Fijian for a number of reasons, is now wooing i-Taukei support by leaning on Qarase.
Chaudhry says this claim is baseless and that the Fiji Labour Party’s support among the grassroots is intact.
