Police investigate former FTA member

A prominent member of the Fiji Taxi Association is under investigation by police for alleged mismanagement of funds and abuse of office.
Reliable sources within the FTA have confirmed to FBC News that the particular office bearer withdrew money from the association’s account on a number of occasions and used it for his business.
He later reimbursed the money he withdrew.
It came to light recently and FTA has reported the matter to the police.
