Police have cleared three teachers of criminal offence after a complaint was lodged that they forced students to play the Charlie Charlie game.
Police Chief of Intelligence and Investigations, ACP Henry Brown says no criminal offence was committed.
Brown says they are compiling statements of those involved and a report will be submitted to the Ministry of Education for their necessary action.
The Ministry received complaints from some students and teachers about the game that has gone viral on social media.
Minister for Education Dr Mahendra Reddy said they have identified a few primary schools in Suva after conducting a preliminary inquiry.
The game which supposedly summons spirits has been banned in all schools and teachers, prefects and students have been advised to report any incidents.
