Talks ongoing for jobs in PNG

Talks are still ongoing with companies that are involved in the multi-billion Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project in PNG to get locals to work there.
Fiji’s High Commissioner to PNG Neomaia Tabunakawai is liaising of the companies.
The PNG LNG project involves the construction of a Liquefied Natural Gas processing plant and associated gas treatment, storage, jetty and marine offloading facilities.
Tabunakawai visited the LNG processing plant in Port Moresby which is currently under construction.
