PM to open new embassy in Korea

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has left for Korea and will open Fiji’s embassy in Seoul today.
Bainimarama says Fiji has long been friends with Korea through the diplomatic ties and trade relations – adding the opening of the new embassy is another turning stone.
He is accompanied by senior government officials – including Foreign Affairs
Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola.
Meanwhile – Bainimarama will also be the chief guest for the Fiji National Day on Saturday at the 2012 International Exposition, in Yeosu, South Korea.
The Fijian booth at the expo has received 230,000 visitors.
The Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum will act as Prime Minister in the absence of Bainimarama.
