Warrant for Padarath’s arrest

It’s been confirmed that a bench warrant was issued for Ben Padarath yesterday after he failed to turn up at a court hearing.
His lawyer, Mere Vasiti informed the court that Padarath could not make it as his father was having some medical problems.
Magistrate Thushara Rajasinghe refused to accept the explanation and issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
This morning – Padarath was found hiding inside an overseas vessel at Queens Wharf in Lautoka.
He was allegedly wearing a Ports Authority uniform.
Padarath is currently in custody at the Lautoka Police Station as investigations continue.
