LTA awaits word on minibus fares

The Land Transport Authority has completed ground works for a new fare structure for minibuses.
Authority Chief Executive- Naisa Tuinceva says submissions have been forwarded to the Transport Ministry for a final decision by cabinet.
Tuinaceva says this initiative will not leave any room for abuse.
“It’s quiet good because that is the whole purpose of having the fare structure for minibus to ensure that it is transparent and fair.”
Tuinaceva says Rural Service License and Land Carrier fare structure will be processing after the minibus fares finalised.
