Commission studies gas price submission

The Fiji Commerce Commission is evaluating the submissions given by gas companies to determine a new price.
Chief executive Bobby Maharaj says the two companies – Fiji Gas and Blue Gas forwarded their submissions last week.
Maharaj says they expect to make a decision on the new gas price by the end of this week.
The review is being carried out following a study into the gas price structure in the country.
The study has revealed that the gas prices are not reflective of the changes of the world market prices.
