The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will advocate climate change during the week long Hibiscus Festival.
Permanent Secretary Saipora Mataikabara says they will showcase the adverse impacts of climate change like rainfall, sea-water inundation of villages, salt water intrusion of fresh water and so forth.
Mataikabara says there is an increasing demand to raise awareness on climate change related issues.
She is urging the public to visit their booth at the festival and be part of the programs they have.
