Government is trying its best to provide decent and affordable homes for all communities in Fiji by 2020 says Minister for Housing and Urban Development Samuela Saumatua.
In opening the 2012 Housing Expo this morning at Albert Park in Suva, Saumatua says providing homes for all families in Fiji is an important component of the People’s Charter.
He says despite their efforts there is are big challenges that lie ahead.
_“The main concern now is how are we going to provide homes for those people who are low income earners.”
Saumatua says the expo will go on for the whole of this week during the Hibiscus Festival.
