It was another glamorous night at the Vodafone Hibiscus Festival last night with contestants in the queen category displaying their talent to the many supporters that turned up.
While some chose to entwine their talent with the theme of this year’s festival, others just took to the stage, and did what they did best.
Dancing, singing, poetry and even cooking by the contestants kept the large crowd entertained throughout the night.
But like every other year, sound was a major issue.
A number of contestants began their talent show without sound; some had their sound cut midway into their performances, while one was barely audible throughout her act, even after a second attempt.
While the crowd showed their frustration, it failed to dampen the mood.
Miss FSN, Timaima Drawaqa eventually took out the prize for best talent with a contemporary dance routine.
The queen contestants male counter parts, the king contestants have their talent show tonight; let’s just hope the sound technicians will have pulled their act together.
