Lau duo lead church

The election of Reverend Tuikilakila Waqairatu as the new church president and Reverend Tevita Nawadra as the General Secretary is history to the church and the vanua of Moala in Lau.
The new elected church heads come from the same village in Naroi, Moala
Moala High Chief Ratu Irivi Draunidalo told FBC NEWS the appointments to the two sons of Moala did not come as a surprise.
“The people of Moala have been expecting the positions for quite sometimes, both Tevita Nawadra now General Secretary amd Tuikilakila Waqairatu now the president of the Methodist Church in Fiji were trained and attended the Methodist Church School in Moala before they came to Suva, i think the people of Moala have been looking forward that someday they will lead the Methodist Church.”
Reverend Epineri Vakadewa Vosa this afternoon was elected in by the Bose Ko Viti to be the new Assistant General Secretary for the Church
