Azonto driver tries to clear name

The infamous Azonto Bus Driver – whose dancing antics on the steering wheel of a bus caught on camera, claims the bus was parked.
Ritesh Kumar does not express any regret, nor is he apologetic but maintains that the bus was not moving at the time of the incident.
Kumar claims the video has been edited and he is a victim.
“It’s not true. I was dancing but when I was doing it, the bus was parked.”
Kumar was driving a group of youths who were returning from doing community work in Rewa.
He says the LTA has taken his details and is awaiting the next course of action.
Meanwhile a passenger on the bus, Reverend William McGoon has backed Kumar’s claims.
