Changing the national anthem was one of the submissions by new NGO, Pacific Dialogue the Constitution Commission today.
Submissions included restricting the term of the President to five years and the introduction of Freedom of Information laws.
Chief executive Jone Dakuvula submitted that the Bose Levu Vakaturaga should remain scrapped.
“A council of chiefs to be called the ‘Bose ni Veiliutaki Vakavanua’ be established as an advisory council to the Minister of I taukei.”
The Commission will be taking part in a public lecture at USP tonight.
