Driver in bank robbery arrested

A raid by police and military personnel in Nasinu this morning has resulted in the arrest of a man believed to be the driver of the van used in the robbery at the BSP Bank in Samabula yesterday.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the man is not a prison escapee.
Eyewitnesses confirm the early morning raid on at least four houses before the arrest was made.
Meanwhile there is a $2,000 reward out for anyone whose information will lead to the arrest of the five escaped inmates.
Still at large and considered dangerous are Isoa Waqa, Solomoni Qurai, Tevita Sugu, Josaia Usumaki and Epeli Qaraniqio.
Qurai is serving life for murder while others are doing lengthy terms for violent robberies.
