The Save the Children Fiji is urging tertiary students to consider Early Childhood Education teaching as a career option.
SCF’s Early Childhood Educator – Avileshni Kumar says a majority of students go for secondary school teaching programs.
Kumar says kindergarten studies lay the foundation of any individual and it must be given equal importance.
She says in Fiji, there is a need to create more awareness on Early Childhood Education.
Save the Children Fiji has organized an event at the Sukuna Park in Suva this Saturday to mark Early Childhood Education Week.
The theme for this year is: Build for the future – Build Kindergarten.
