Opposition Leader Ro Teimumu Kepa hopes that next week’s parliament sitting is not dominated by ministerial statements.
Kepa says the Opposition wants robust debates on critical issues from Monday to Thursday.
She adds the Opposition will also file motions covering Tertiary Education Loan Scheme (TELS), queues at the Banks, fencing at the Government House, compensation for resource owners for film production, railway network for densely populated areas, National Health Commission and the reinstatement of the Ratu Sukuna Day.
Ro Teimumu says some questions that will be asked will be very broad ranging from issues such as the Civil Service reform, oil spill at the Suva Harbour, employment taxation and road works in key areas.
