New road to benefit 500 people

More than 500 people living in Namata and Matadawa village in Tailevu now have proper road access after the completion of a 1.3km access road constructed by the Fiji Roads Authority.
FRA Acting Chief Executive Officer, Robert Sen says the new access road will improve the quality of life and provide social and economic benefits to the people living in the two villages.
Sen says the villagers will also be able to improve their livelihood opportunities.
FRA was able to complete the project in three months.
