President Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konrote yesterday received credentials from new resident High Commissioner of Vanuatu, Nikenike Vurobaravu.
The High Commissioner presented credentials following a twenty-five member guard of honour at the Borron House in Suva.
He has served as the Roving Ambassador, Pacific Island Forum Secretariat Deputy Secretary General, and Coordinator of Vanuatu Comprehensive Reform Programme with the Asian Development Bank, and head of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.
He was accompanied by his wife.
