The acting Prime Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is reminding all Fijians to remain tolerant towards other religions.
Sayed-Khaiyum says Fiji is a multi-cultural society hence it is important to live in harmony and in peace with everyone.
The Minister was talking at the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday celebrations yesterday in Ba.
“So I urge you all to be able to embrace the diversity we have. To be able to learn from the diversity and to be able to then inculcate your life with the way the last prophet of Islam did and you will be able to live in much more harmony not just with yourself but with everyone around you.”
Sayed-Khaiyum says all Fijians should strive to do better and always make personal reflections to improve themselves.
