School teacher denies rape charges

A former class four teacher of a Primary school in Nasinu took the witness stand yesterday afternoon and denied all allegations charged against him.
He was cross examined by the Defence Counsel, Aman Ravindra Singh at the closing of the Defence Case.
The accused is charged with four counts of rape and nine counts of sexual assault of students.
Singh read out all the thirteen counts to the accused and asked him whether he took part in the alleged sexual offences.
He replied no.
Meanwhile High Court Judge, Justice Salesi Temo will sum up the case this afternoon.
