Parents and guardians are urged to value their children’s effort when dealing with examination results.
This was highlighted by Permanent Secretary for Education, Iowane Tiko, as external examination results start to be released.
Tiko says most parents don’t accept marks achieved by their children due to high expectations.
“I think as a modern parents of today, we need to accept the children’s effort so far .We need to thank them and acknowledged them, give them a special treat as they deserve it.”
Meanwhile, the 2017 provisional result for Year 10 Examinations will be released tomorrow, with Year 13 exam results expected to be released next week.
