Escapee Deshwar Kishore Dutt has been arrested.
Police Chief of Operations ACP Rusiate Tudravu confirms two other people have also been arrested along with Dutt.
ACP Tudravu says after receiving information last night the Police Taskforce team arrested an 18-year-old and a 23- year- old for allegedly harboring Dutt in a house in Vuda Lautoka.
Police pursued Dutt the whole night and arrested him this morning at a mangrove swamp.
Dutt also resisted arrest and the three are now in custody.
Meanwhile, police also arrested a 50-year-old man over the weekend for allegedly assisting Dutt
Dutt escaped from the Nadi Magistrates court in December last year.
He had also escaped from the Suva High court in April 2017.
Dutt was convicted of two counts of aggravated robbery and was sentenced in absentia to 15 years imprisonment.
He was later arrested in May after a team of police officers foiled a robbery at a warehouse, located along the Nadi Back Road.
