Parents who have been asked to pay for Vernacular text books are urged to file a report with the Education ministry.
Education Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says schools should provide vernacular textbooks for free as the government has given them grants.
Sayed-Khaiyum adds six schools have been found breaching the Governments Free Textbook Scheme and such incidents will not be tolerated.
He adds the Government aims to provide free education to young Fijians.
Meanwhile, text books are expected to be available to students from Monday.
