A sixteen-year-old boy, who allegedly ran away from the Juvenile Centre in Samabula, last week, has been remanded in custody.
The boy has been charged with one count of escaping from lawful custody.
He appeared in the Juvenile Court yesterday.
The Court heard the boy was playing touch rugby and was discovered missing during a head count.
He was later arrested by Police.
Prosecution confirms the teenager was warned that if he escapes again, he will be remanded in the Suva Remand Centre.
The case will be recalled on the 25th of this month for plea and also to seek Legal Aid Assistance.
