The Fiji National University launched its annual Fiji Business Excellence Awards last night with a brand new logo celebrating two decades of its existence.
The national awards is designed to improve productivity and quality in organisations across the country.
President Major General Retired Jioji Konousi Konrote says all nations irrespective of size, location and endowments share the dream of creating more wealth and improving the socio-economic conditions of their people.
Konrote says the FBEA takes this in its stride by enticing businesses to reach beyond their potential.
“It takes a national commitment to build a nation, and improving national productivity is no different. All of us – producers, retailers and wholesalers, government, labor, the financial community, the business community, employee organizations, the education sector, trade unions and consumers – have to be fully engaged in the effort.”
Meanwhile, the new logo symbolizes unity, commitment, love and community.
The gold coloring represents the new era and a new dimension of innovation and excellence for the FBEA.
