Stabbing case transferred to Lautoka High Court

The case of a man who is alleged to have stabbed and robbed a carrier driver in Momi Bay Nadi last Friday has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court.
Samuela Salaba appeared in the Nadi Magistrates Court today charged with one count of aggravated robbery and one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.
It is alleged that Salaba on Friday 13th April, robbed carrier driver Abdul Farook, of cash amounting to $1,070 and at the time of the robbery had an offensive weapon with him.
Salaba is also alleged to have been in possession of illicit drugs on that day.
He will reappear next Wednesday.
