Police hunts two men for alleged rape case

A Police team continues to hunt down for two known suspects allegedly involved in a gang rape of an eleven-year-old girl in Namosi in February.

The two men are among the fourteen suspects who were allegedly involved in this case.

Acting Chief of Intelligence and Investigations, ACP Vakacegu Toduadua says it is not known where the two men are hiding, however they are aware of their identity.

The two were part of a church youth group who were in Namosi at the time of the alleged offence.

ACP Toduadua confirms eight other suspects have been charged and already appeared before the Suva High Court.

Four suspects who were juveniles have been released.
