Four men are in custody for their alleged involvement in an early morning aggravated robbery on Monday at a shop in Naselai, Tailevu.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the four men are alleged to have threatened the security officer before stealing cash, liquor, cartons of cigarettes and assorted items worth more than $100,000.

An Eastern Division taskforce team managed to gather information of where the alleged stolen cigarettes were disposed and tracked them to two shops and a home in Navua where more information was gathered about the alleged involvement of the four suspects.

The four, one aged 38 and the others in their 40s were arrested yesterday and are currently in custody at the Nausori Police Station as investigation continues.
