Report by: Maggie Boyle
The Director of Public Prosecutions, Christopher Pryde, (DPP) has decided that no charges will be laid against a National Federation Party candidate, Feroz Gulam Mohammed.
In a statement, the DPP notes that Mohammed was interviewed under caution on February 15th 2018 after a complaint of criminal intimidation was lodged by the Director of the Fiji Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission, Ashwin Raj.
The DPP stated that there is insufficient evidence to support a charge against Mohammed and therefore the docket has been returned to police.
