The 20-year-old man who is alleged to have been involved in the murder of a man at the Suva foreshore in May this year appeared through a video link from the Suva remand centre at the Suva High Court this morning.
Saula Temo has been charged with one count of murder.
It’s alleged that on May 17th, Temo hit 23-year-old Akuila Salavuki at the Fiji Development Bank foreshore with a piece of timber that caused his death.
The deceased was found lying in a pool of blood by two men the next day.
High court judge justice Daniel Goundar instructed Temo to file for assistance from legal aid for his case.
The matter has been adjourned to October 16th for plea.
