Two men charged with one count of aggravated robbery took their plea at the Suva High Court this morning.
Akuila Nasi junior pleaded not guilty while his accomplice Penijamini Talemaitoga pleaded guilty to the offence.
It is alleged on June 23rd, the two robbed a fifty-five-year-old man of $160 cash in Kinoya, Suva.
The two allegedly attacked the man where he sustained injuries.
Following the incident, the two were arrested at a friend’s resident where they were consuming alcohol.
During mitigation submission, Defence Counsel highlighted that 22-year-old Talemaitoga is seeking the court’s forgiveness.
Talemaitoga believes while spending two months in remand, he realises he was following the wrong group and if released he will better himself.
The Judge has called for sentencing on Friday.
