The Fijian Elections Office has resumed all voter service center operations around the country from today until November 13.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says this is to ensure voters are able to obtain their voter cards right until the day before election.
Saneem says registered voters who may have lost or misplaced their card can still obtain replacement cards as registration of new voters has closed.
“Voter service centers can no longer be accepting any changes to details or new registration until the election is completed. This is only a service we’re providing replacement of voter cards by Fijians who may have lost it so that they’re able to get details on the card rather than having to answer so many questions come Election Day.”
Saneem says voters cannot change their details and polling venues as these services ceased last week Monday.
Voter service centres in Suva, Nausori, Labasa, Savusavu, Rakiraki, Lautoka and Nadi will remain open.
Voter services will also be provided in Sigatoka, Tavua and Ba in the west, Taveuni, Nabouwalu and Seaqaqa in the North while centres in Navua, Keiyasi, Korovou, Levuka, Kadavu and Vunidawa will be also opened.
