FijiFirst Party Leader Voreqe Bainimarama has clarified why he removed some government officials and certain senior officials of the RFMF during his tenure as Prime Minister starting from 2006.
Bainimarama revealed this while speaking at a campaign meeting yesterday in Tailevu.
He says he has clearly told those that wanted to join him in 2006 that everyone should work towards what he wanted to do for the country.
Bainimarama says some people had to be removed because he wanted a government that is transparent and one that considers the needs of all people.
The FijiFirst leader says when he started in 2006 he made a covenant that God should be the judge in what his government will do and he will always leave everything in god’s hands.
Bainimarama says let god’s will prevail if the FijiFirst party should continue as the ruling government after the 2018 election.
