Flying Fijians speedster, Sireli Bobo has signed a new deal with a rugby club in Japan for the next five years.
Following an outstanding performance during the Pacific Nations Cup, Flying Fijians head coach, Inoke Male confirmed the Ra-native was snapped up before the team returned home yesterday.
“Upon leaving only Bobo stayed back for a while to sign his new contract with the club in Japan.”
Male says they are not aware of the full extent of Bobo’s new contract but he had completed the signing before leaving Japan.
Despite marking his return to international rugby after three years, Bobo is still in fine form having played rugby consistently for Top 14 French side, Racing Metro.
The national side arrived yesterday with some overseas-based players expected to return to their respective clubs today while others will leave next week.
Before the 2015 RWC qualifiers next year, the Flying Fijians will prepare for the Northern tour in November.
