The BLK Nadroga side has named a powerful team to take on Suva in the first Skipper Cup semi-final at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka tomorrow.
A number of past and present national reps, with bulk of experience will bolster the Stallions as coach Esala Nauga has gone for one of his strongest line-up this season.
Big names such as Peni Ravai, Seremaia Naureure, Setefano Somoca, Rupeni Nasiga and Manoa Tamaya have all be included in the forwards.
The Save Rawaqa, Jiuta Lutumailagi, Samu Cava and Ratu Meli Kurisaru are named in the backs.
Nadroga Rugby Union president Tiko Matawalu says they needed the best team to run onto the field because Suva will be entering Lawaqa Park, with nothing but a win in their minds.
“Suva has been boosted by the national reps in their outfit and that is something that we are preparing for. We have beaten them in the round robin and it doesn’t mean we will take them lightly. We are taking our preparations very seriously and we hope that we leave no stones unturned when we play Suva. Suva is a very good team laced with national reps compared to the Nadroga team.”
