Young rugby league players will get a chance to impress scouts from Australia next month.

Fiji National Rugby League development officer Sale Tubuna says for age grade academies from New South Wales will be in the country for the Tagitupou Challenge.

He says these academies will have their scouts with them.

“Well, the scouts will be here for the 16 to 18 year olds. This is how we managed to get our latest player, Manasa Koroibete to get into the NRL.”

We believe in starting at the grassroot level.

Meanwhile, FNRL is hoping for a good turnout for the national trials in October.
