It will be a grudge match this Sunday when Nadroga takes on Tavua in the Fiji Sun GP Batteries National Football League.

Nadroga is sore about Tavua taking players from them while Tavua is not happy with the protest by Nadroga which saw Tavua sit out the Battle of the Giants.

Nadroga president Dhiren Lal says his team is gearing up for the weekend and are not underestimating Tavua.

“The team will start training today and we will not be taking Tavua lightly despite a lot of players moving away from the district. They were still able to upset Rewa in their last outing, so we are mindful of that.”

Tavua on the other hand is also looking at new challenges.

For the first time, the team will be playing their match under newly appointed interim vice-president Mrs Khan.

In other matches, Rewa takes on Labasa on Saturday. You can catch a live commentary of this game on our sister stations Radio Fiji 2.
